Well I hope the Dems out there are happy. As passionate as I am about this subject, for the sake of minimizing any offensive comments, I’ll try to keep things only mildly bitter. But there are some things which I’ve learned about young voters that are just appalling.
It’s pretty obvious that Obama is going to win the presidency, but I’m sick of hearing people support “the candidate of change” just for the heck of it. Have a reason to back up Obama and stop jumping on the bandwagon. Think for yourself and give me a legitimate reason why a candidate with such little experience has won your vote.
Over 40% of Americans pay zilch in federal taxes at the present time. That’s almost half the tax-paying nation, ladies and gentlemen. So when Obama promises tax cuts to “95% of Americans”, the numbers don’t seem to add up.
Being a Republican, I was eager to view how Democrat presidential nominee Barack Obama would criticize President Bush’s administration as well as his rival, John McCain, during his speech at the National Convention. For those who wished to acquire the same, you can agree with me that Senator Obama didn’t disappoint.
